How to download Covid vaccination certificate from Co-WIN, UMANG app and Aarogya Setu

Once you get yourself jabbed with one dose or both doses of the Covid-19 vaccine, the next thing you should do is to download the vaccine certificate as soon as you can.

Notably, if you’ve taken the first dose, you’ll get a provisional certificate and when you are done with both doses you can download your final certificate. There are various platforms and places from where you can download your vaccination certificate, including the Co-WIN portal, UMANG app and Arogya Setu app.

Steps to download Covid Vaccination certificate from Co-WIN website

Step 1: Visit the official website for the vaccination in India www.cowin.gov.in.

Step 2: On the home page, click on the sign-in/register button and log in using your registered mobile number.

Step 3: Then, an OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number to confirm your identity. Enter the OTP in the input field.

Step 4: Once you log in after verification, you’ll see your vaccination dates for both the first and second vaccination.

Step 5: Now, click on the certificate tab link given under your name.

Step 6: Lastly, click on the ‘Download’ button to download a PDF file as your Corona Vaccine Certificate.

Steps to download Covid Vaccination certificate using Aarogya Setu app

Step 1: Download the Aarogya Setu app from Google Play Store and install it on your device.

Step 2: Login or register using your mobile number and OTP.

Step 3: Click on the ‘Co-WIN’ tab or icon given at the top right corner of the screen. A menu will appear on the next page.

Step 4: Now, click on the ‘Vaccine Certificate’ option. Then, enter your 13-digit beneficiary ID.

Step 5: Now, click on the ‘Get Certificate’ link to download it on your device.

Steps to download Covid Vaccination certificate using UMANG app

Step 1: Download the UMANG app from Google Play Store on your device.

Step 2: Open the app on your mobile and search for the ‘What’s New’ section.

Step 3: Under the ‘What’s New’ section, you will find a tab named Co-WIN.

Step 4: Click on the Co-WIN button. Then, tap on the ‘Download Vaccination Certificate’ option.

Step 5: Now, enter your mobile number. An OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number.

Step 6: Next, enter the OTP that you received in the input field. Also, confirm the beneficiary’s name and credentials.

Step 7: Download your Covid vaccination certificate.

Point to note: You must not share your vaccination certificate with anyone as it contains crucial data including name, age and even Aadhaar card number.
